Overview
DNS remains the most under-protected critical service in most enterprises. This demonstration shows two adoption paths on F5 Distributed Cloud: running secondary DNS alongside an existing on-premises primary for resilience, or migrating fully to XC as the authoritative primary. You will configure zone transfer from a BIND primary, watch records propagate to the global anycast network, then demonstrate resolution continuing normally while the primary is deliberately taken offline. The low-risk secondary-first path makes this an easy first XC deployment for cautious customers.
